José Rodríguez is a screenwriter. He majored in Media Communication in Seville and debuted as a scriptwriter with the film “Adiós”, which was directed by internationally known director Paco Cabezas.
While working with Cabezas, José collaborated in the writing of seasons one and two of “Diablero”, produced by Netflix and Morena Films.
After completing this last work, he took part in season two of “La Peste”, created by Rafael Cobos and Alberto Rodríguez and produced by Movistar.
He is currently involved in several feature film projects among which the following stand out: co-writing with director Juan Miguel del Castillo (“Techo y comida”) for the adaptation of the novel “La maniobra de la tortuga”, by Áralan Films ; “Calibre”, a thriller inspired by real events for the producer Morena Films; and “Asedio” thriller co-written with Miguel Ángel Vivas for Apaches Films.
